ISLAMABAD:National Assembly on Thursday approved two motions including a separate province in South Punjab amid rumpus
between Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz members of Nationa Assembly.
National Assembly session also adopted a resolution to express solidarity with Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani after contempt of court case.
The resolutions presented by Federal Minister Farooq H Naek were approved with majority of votes.
Hot words and scuffle between PPP and PML-N members also reported during the session.
PML-N members tore the copies of the National Assembly agenda, and besiege Speaker National Assembly and empty chair of PM Gilani.
